Merry Christmas

This year Christmas was extra special. Logan celebrated his first Christmas. This year it was all about the wrapping paper and the bows and less about the actual presents.

Splish Splash

Logan has a new bath tub now that he is getting to be a big boy. He's upgraded and loves bath time even more than he did before.

Happy Thanksgiving

Logan had a great first Thanksgiving. He got to see all of his family and stayed awake the whole day so that he won't miss a moment. We have some much to be thankful in our lives especially with the birth of Logan. He has been such a blessing!

Happy Halloween

Logan spent his first Halloween dressed up as a pumpkin. We went trick or treating with our friends from the neighborhood: Summer & Austin, Haley & Hannah, Isaiah, Ashton, & Seba. Logan fell asleep before we got to the end of the street but we all had a great time.

Pumpkin Patch

The weekend before Halloween Austin, Summer, and Logan went to the pumkin patch at the Lakewood Forest Methodit Church and took some fall pictures and picked out a pumpkin for Halloween.

Pool Side

Here is Logan hanging out by the pool. He sure did get a kick out of the waterfall and the water running over his feet. He is definitely a water baby!

3 Month Milestone

Here is Logan celebrating his 3 month birthday! Time sure does fly doesn't it. He has been talking and cooing for a couple of weeks now. I think he is the happiest baby ever!

Logan's First Cereal Feeding

Logan did an awesome job of eating his first bowl of cereal by spoon. He made a little bit of a mess and was fussy because Mom couldn't feed it to him as fast as the bottle feeds him. He is six weeks old!
-Note: I think the cereal is helping him sleep at night. He has been sleeping for about 8 hours for the past week! Yeah.

Big Brother

Logan was finally able to meet his older brother TJ when he came down for summer vacation on July 14th. TJ was so excited about seeing him for the first time and he was a natural at holding him and helping take care of him.

A Mother's Prayer

Dear Lord, It's such a hectic day

with little time to stop and pray.

For life has been anything but calm,

since you decided to make me a MOM!

Running errands and matching socks,

building dreams with wooden blocks.

Cooking, cleaning and finding shoes

and other stuff that children lose.

Fitting lids on bottled bugs,

wiping tears and giving hugs.

A stack of last week's mail to read

So where's the quiet time I need?

Yet when I steal a moment, Lord,

just at the sink or ironing board,

to ask the blessing of your Grace,

I see then in my small one's face.

That you have blessed me all the while

As I stoop to kiss THAT precious smile!

Like Father Like Son

A Father's Prayer
Lord I'm askin’ for Your help

To raise my newborn son,

Give me strength and guide me

Cause I know that You're the one.

That sent this angel to me

A little heaven here on earth,

For now I know my place in life...

I'm no longer who comes first.

Once I had no answer

As to why it is I'm here,

But when I looked into my baby's eyes....

It all became so clear.

This little bit of heaven

Owns me, heart and soul

And it's You that sent him to me

A greater love I'll never know.

So take these rugged hands of mine

Help me to understand,

Just what it is I need to do

To raise this little man.

Help me build a boy that knows

It's You that holds the key,

To all that heaven holds for us

Show him Your love through me.

Some of my Daily Activities

This is my friend Summer. She lives a couple of houses down with her brother Austin and we like to go on walks in our strollers in the mornings and hang out with each other. She is a little older than I am. She is 3 months old.


I also like to play on my activity gym which has a lot of colors also.


Then I play in my swing and Mom tries to get me to listen to music and watch tv so that I can stimulate my vision.

I usually start my day off at around 9am when Mom feeds me and then I take a little cat nap.
